Wulfkult is an experimental music project formed by Rev. Chad Wells from the ashes of The Jackalopes. Wulfkult is Rev. Wells' attempt to make music that transcends style and genre. Wulfkult utilizes stylistic principles from many genres including (but not limited to) sound collage, noise, doom, black metal, industrial, punk, folk and traditional ethnic musics. Wulfkult is a very loose knit group consisting of Rev. Wells and any number of collaborators/co-conspirators.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Because we do not have a real solid/core membership, we do not currently play live but we will be working on putting together several different live experiences or rituals soon.
Your musical influences
Swans, Neurosis, Manson Family, John Prine, Leonard Cohen, Angels of Light, Skinny Puppy, Burzum, Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, Yoko Ono, Samhain
What equipment do you use?
Anything and everything we can get our hands on! Mostly stolen software, PC's, 4 track's, any tape decks, all sorts of different guitars and basses, some real and some programmed drums, junk instruments, keyboards, tons of effects, dark black thought patterns...
Anything else?
"Christ don't run with wolves..." -Charles Manson
