Refraktory is an ebm/industrial project out of West Palm Beach, Fl. We are currently working on our debut single and also working on our debut album. Our influences are many current bands on the scene today such as Velvet Acid Christ, Hocico, Funker Vogt, and many more. Stay tuned for more updates.
The members of Refraktory have been together for over 5 years working at times on solo projects perfecting our sound. Just recently we have started working together again and will be releasing our single in August. We also are currently working on our full length album Through the Head to be released early next year.

I think for myself, Velvet Acid Christ has been a real influence on me really getting off my butt and working hard on my music. I may not agree on all his views but, his music has really influenced me. Other influences are Funker Vogt, Skinny Puppy, NIne Inch Nails, Hocico, Suicide Commando, and really too many to list here. But I really like the different styles that are out there and try to incorporate them with my own sound.
