Former guitarist for progressive rock band, Dayana, from Johore Bahru. Starts picking up guitar at 15, and starts seriously playing at 18. formed Dayana in 1988 and starts entering band competition all over Johore and Malaysia, including Pesta Muzik Kingsway in 1989 in Pahang and held at 2nd place.
Won previous band competition from 1986 to 1991. Last competition entered is Juara Rock Johor Tengah in 1991 and held at 1st place.
From there, Dayana moved to Kuala Lumpur and signed under Denoris Record and release a debut album in 1992. the band keeps on rocking , playing on stage around the country, and I myself backing up local artist such as Iwan, Shereen, Tania etc...
End of 1994, Dayana split and the band member heading to their own way such as clubs and session. i decided to stay with my main job as a Creative Director in an agency, but still cannot let go the music as it flows thru my blood and vein... now I am doing some home recording as a hobby and self satisfaction with my studio colleague.
