The Idiot Sin brothers grew up in Santa Barbara, California in a musical family. Idiot Sin began during the high school years in the early 1980's with Nick playing his sisters piano while Pat would play his drums and try to sing along. It wasn't until the late 1990's when both brothers found themselves back it town again that they decided to record at Nick's rental house on Milpas street in Santa Barbara. From 1999 until 2003, the brothers wrote songs and recorded 3 albums (ORIGINAL SIN, HOAX, AND III).
