Hello, I'm Mike Rice. I'm an aspiring composer in Cincinnati, Ohio. I compose lots of different genres, and Limiter is my virtual band for my Metal and Industrial pieces. Everything I have recorded was done entirely on Keyboards and computer, but most sound pretty convincing as bands. Hopefully, some day a real band will perform my songs. I could use some help from a lyricist too.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No. My setup isn't really portable. (the PC.)Aside from showing off once in a while, I really like spending my time writing new songs. I don't practice my old stuff much.
Your musical influences
Rush, Metallica, Tori Amos, Joe Satriani, Nine-Inch-Nails, Queensryche, Judas Priest.
What equipment do you use?
Ensoniq SQ-1, Roland SoundCanvas, PC with soundblaster Live! soundcard.
