I'm a songwriter from the Knoxville, Tennessee area. I play acoustic, adult alternative rock fused just about every style rock.
Band/artist history
I played my first live performance in 1997 as a thirteen year old. I played my first solo acoustic/vocals show at sixteen. Soon afterwards, during the summer of 2000, I began playing weekly shows with a lead guitarist, Aaron Sigler, at Angelo's and the Main Street Coffee House in Morristown, TN. Since, I have played at various times with various people at the following places: Higher Grounds, The Downtown, The Smokehouse, The Java Garden, The Elk's Club, Hillside Grill, D & L Station, Tennessee Tall Tales Emporium, & The Coffee Bean, in Morristown, TN; The Prince Deli & Sports Bar, Preservation Pub, Big Fatties, & Blue Cats in Knoxville, TN, & the DownHome in Johnson City, TN, and Big Mama's Karaoke Cafe in Seymour, TN. I have been aired a few times on former radio stations, WOKI 100.3 "The River" & WOKI 98.7 "The River" during their singer/songwriter's radio show (which were recordings from my performances at singer/songwriter night at the Preservation Pub in Knoxville, TN). Some of my friends/musicians that I've played on stage with are (in chronological order): Travis Blazer, Cole Ison, Zack Hamilton, Aaron Sigler, Daniel Vernon, Martin Geppert, Neil Turner, John Worley, John Shockley, Jared Riddle, Lacy Capps, Brandon Surrette, Andrew Little, Jackson Mohr, Shad Schneider, Eric Bowers, Mike Stinson, Alex Melin, James Baysinger, Matt Hammell, Alex Cooper, Andrew Sexton, Mac Comer, Rob Kabrick, Alex Taylor, Doug Kuhns, and my brother, Corey DuBose. I have played in a few bands, such as Cypher, but I am currently just playing as a solo, acoustic, singer/ songwriter.
