The idea started in mid-2003, and Nimheil wasn't named until December 2003. Most of 2004 was spent working on material and experimenting with techniques.
As of November 2004, a full length album is ready for final production with all the tracks finalized.
Nimheil hasn't performed live yet, but hopes to do at least one or two live performances in 2005. These depend on material available and whether or not the right situation can be found.

My influence started with a lot of old school industrial, noise and dark ambient. Recently a lot more dark ambient and apocalyptic-folk has crept into the listening list.
