I began music studies at age 5 on piano and elementary theory. I progressed to guitar at 9 and drumset at 13 at which age I began composing seriously. At 17 came my first professional commission for a documentary film made for television called "The Championship Season-That Team Spirit". Since then I have been composing and performing professionally. I compose in many contrasting styles but leaning more toward contemporary classical and minimalism. I have done some work in film and popular music. I am now working on my 7th symphony and my 11th string quartet.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Here and there. I play for fun and I still teach piano and guitar.
Your musical influences
Copland, Druckman, Stravinsky, and Shostakovich to name a few. I enjoy music that is tonal in essence but not traditionally so. Although I have written some, I am not a big fan of serialism. I do however, use mathematics to compose melodies and to dictate harmonic progressions.
What equipment do you use?
To compose, I use the Sibelius music publishing program on a custom built Alienware tower. I use a Gateway computer running Windows ME with a sound blaster live Platinum with my own compilation of soundfonts for my Sequencing.
Anything else?
My MIDI performances are EXTREMELY high quality. I took great pains to add expression to these MIDI files to make the perfomance sound "human." The files fare better in .WAV format but are still good in .mp3.
