It's been a journey of practice, patience, and persistence. Being open to all kinds of feedbackpositive or nothas helped me grow. Starting out wasnt easy; I had to dive deep into understanding how the music industry works. Even now, I dont claim to know it all, but Ive learned how to position myselfregistering my music, protecting my work, and making sure I get what Im due.
Music has been a passion since childhood, and it's more than a creative outlet, it's how I spread joy. Whether someone connects to the message or just vibes with the sound, I want them to leave with a smile. Since going fully professional in 2015 and officially releasing my first single in 2020, Ive been steadily building a listener base. Its been gradual, but fulfilling.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, Ive had the chance to perform live a couple of times. One memorable moment was at an Open Mic Speak Easy in 2023. I performed an unreleased song and the reactions were priceless, people were genuinely surprised to find out I was a vocalist. That moment of connection and discovery really stuck with me.
Your musical influences
First and foremost, God. Then myselfbecause I push myself to keep evolving. And of course, the many great musicians I grew up listening to, too many to name. Their sounds helped shape mine, directly or indirectly.What equipment do you use?
I use the Audio-Technica AT2020 and the Mackie EM-91C for most recordings, though I started out with my OG mic, the Shure SM58, which I used for my first official single. My interfaces are a Focusrite and a Steep II for backup. For monitoring and mixing, I use Audio-Technica closed-ear headphones, and for recording sessions, I switch to a Samson headset.Anything else?
This journey started as a hobby, and Im still herestill creating, still evolving. I hope it really takes off one day. But until then, Ill keep giving the world nothing but nice musicthats my motto. Every song I drop carries meaning. Its never just sound; its soul.
