Crack in the Shine

I am a lyric writing hobbyist. I don't have much musical talent outside of writing words, however modern tools allow me to express my creativity and improve.

I enjoy writing lyrics, and I have gotten a lot better as of late, I would like to think. I do use AI to produce the music, but not write it. I am also very picky with the outcome of my songs, and I provide detailed instructions on how the music should sound, ensuring that every song I accept is the highest quality I can muster. Thank you for listening, I know AI music is controversial, but that doesn't mean I don't put a lot of time and effort into ensuring my songs are great. I also want to show that given time, and a true passion for what I create, AI music can actually be good, and presentable. While I agree 100 percent it can not replace the human touch, it can substitute for those who wish to create but can't seem to find the talent. I would compare it to a high-school garage band versus a world renowned star. They both have space in the field, but clearly one has an edge, but that doesn't devalue the garage band because they may innovate in new and creative ways, and everyone has their own stories to tell.
Band/artist history
I have ADHD, and probably a slew of other issues. While this has caused me to struggle with learning music, which I was so passionate about for the longest time, I settled on lyric writing as I could grasp that concept a lot better. After years of trying to grasp musical concepts, I decided to step away. Since the arrival of AI tools, I always experimented with making lyrics into song. I was never satisfied with the quality of AI songs, and felt it was just a fun hobby, never anything to share. And it helped me to hear my lyrics and improve my writing. But as AI music got more advanced, I found myself more and more satisfied. So I decided I wanted to share.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do not have a musical background that allows me to play live, and I have bad anxiety and would likely never perform live.
Your musical influences
My influences are from stories. I like to write lyrics that take a part of a story, and have the my songs tell mini-stories within a larger story.
What equipment do you use?
I use a simple notebook, SUNO-AI, and various audio editing software, notably Audacity.
Anything else?
If anyone wants to take my music and cover/recreate it, by all means please do. It has been a dream of mine to have my lyrics and ideas produced by a real music artist! No permission needed to cover/recreate it, just credit for the writing lyrics, and please share!
