dig doing covers with Gary and this is our fifth Bowie tribute thus far and have Rick on keys and Kath on backing vocals

myself, Gary & John making this version of Fame a very heavy one indeed! We wanted to really turn this into something different and pretty happy with result, wear headphones while playing!

dusted this one off as it's a very interesting mix (industrial) and it's different to Bowie's OG by a country mile...great to work with all the gang on this one and this is a nu-mix honouring the Bowie covers of late!

Bowie in 1976 appearing on SoulTrain was so surreal performing 'Golden Years' which was undeniably a soul track - the year prior saw 'Fame' become his first US#1 and earn his chameleon-like status.

so when Gary suggested we do a cover of this 1973 classic who could say no - love the guitar on this and industrial feel plus Bowie rocks forever!

some more of the Bowie series covers, the song of which it's riff had Keith Richards a bit jealous, lol - from the 'diamond dogs' LP fifty years ago this year....wtf?! lol!
