Hi, I'm Walters Fall. Singer-songwriter, storyteller, and seeker of truth. Join me on a journey through song, soul, and the beauty of the unknown."
Band/artist history
I never set out with a map. I just followed the pull, the need to create, to unearth something real. Music has always been that place where I could be fully honest, where the walls fall away, and its just me, the guitar, and whatever truth is clawing its way out. It started simply picking up the guitar, figuring out how to let it speak for me. I didnt have a formal plan, just a restless drive to express what words alone couldnt. Over time, that turned into songwriting, not just as an outlet but as a way to capture something deeper. Ive always been drawn to vivid imagery, metaphors wrapped in raw emotion, and the kind of music that makes you feel something, that lingers. Ive spent the last two years fully immersed in this writing relentlessly, releasing music that is as unfiltered as I can make it. I manage everything myself: the recording, the artwork, the social media, the connections. Its exhausting at times, but its real. And thats what matters to me. Somewhere along the way, people started listening. The music found its way to those who needed it. I dont think of this as a career path; its more like a calling. A way of reaching out to others who feel the same undercurrents of struggle, transformation, and redemption. This isnt about chasing trends or seeking approval. Walters Fall exists to create something raw, something honest. And if it resonates with even one person, then its worth every step Ive taken to get here.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I havent performed live as Walters Fallat least, not yet. But before this, I was in a band, and we played our share of shows. Theres something about that energy, that raw exchange between you and the audience, that stays with you. One moment that stands out was a show where everything just clicked. The lights, the crowd, the way the music filled the roomit felt like time disappeared for a while. I remember locking eyes with someone in the audience, and I could tell the song meant something to them. Thats the kind of connection I chase with my music now, even if I haven't brought Walters Fall to the stage yet. Live music is a different kind of beast. Its vulnerable, immediate. And when the times right, I know Ill bring Walters Fall to that space. But for now, Im focused on building the foundation letting the songs find their way before they echo in a room full of people.
Your musical influences
My influences arent just musicianstheyre voices that cut through the noise, artists who werent afraid to be raw, vulnerable, and real. Chris Cornell is a big one. There was something haunting in his voice, the way he could pour every ounce of emotion into a single note. He made you feel the weight of every word, and thats something I strive for in my own music. Aaron Lewishis songwriting has always struck me. Stripped-down, honest, no embellishments, just pure feeling. That ability to tell a story, to lay it all out without pretense, is something I admire. And of course, Kurt Cobain. Not just for the music, but for the way he embodied contradictionsoft yet explosive, simple yet profound. He made imperfection beautiful, showed that emotion matters more than polish. Beyond that, my influences come from everywhere books, conversations, quiet moments in nature. Anything that stirs something inside me. I dont try to sound like anyone else. I just take what moves me and let it shape what comes out.
What equipment do you use?
I keep things simpleraw and unfiltered, just how I want it. My main guitar is a Takamine acoustic, the one I reach for the most when writing and recording. Then theres my 12-string Oscar Schmidt, which adds that depth and resonance that fits the sound Im after. As for recording, I dont have high-end gear. Just some cheap mics and a free DAW. But its not about the equipmentits about what you do with it. I embrace the imperfections, the little nuances that make a song feel alive. Overproduction kills emotion, and Id rather capture something real than chase perfection. At the end of the day, its not about having the best gear. Its about making the most of what you have and letting the music speak for itself.
Anything else?
Im not here to be polished or perfectIm here to be real. Everything I create comes from a place of raw emotion, a need to express what words alone cant. My music isnt just something to listen to; its something to feel. I write about the moments that haunt us, the battles we fight within ourselves, the beauty hidden beneath the surface of it all. If youve ever felt like youre standing at the edge of something searching, questioning, breaking, rebuilding, then my music might be for you. I do this all on my own. No big studio, no expensive setup just me, my guitars, and whatever needs to be said. If you want something real, something honest, then dive in. See what you find.
