FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
  • freestyling over a beat
  • licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
  • remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.
When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".
I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.
What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
I have lived seven lives like cats and maybe even more, but nevertheless I am incredibly alive. I have been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and to be able to travel a lot, thanks to what has been my job as a tattoo artist for so many years. I then had the misfortune to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and there I lost everything I had, saving only the few things I cared about, including musical instruments, thanks to some friends. But although they were hard years and I also lived on the street and without a roof over my head, they were intense years, which gave me much more on a human level than I had had before and this helped me a lot and thanks to music it saved my life. At some point I found a very unique person, to whom I owe everything and who believes in me, in my crazy visionary dreams and in what I want to achieve, and I honestly don't know how she does it. But thanks to her, I am still here and writing these things.
Band/artist history
I started playing bass in 1985 at the age of 14 and after two years I started playing guitar, which then became my main instrument, playing in various bands, mainly rock and thrash metal. In 2002 I stopped playing due to problems with my left hand, which I still carry with me to this day. In 2012 I started playing again and took up the piano, and then resumed playing the bass and guitar, despite my hand problems. At a certain point, tired of what had been my job and artistic path in body art for over 20 years, I decided to devote myself totally to music, and thanks to my training and study of music, I decided to explore and experiment, composing in a variety of musical genres and starting to sell my tracks on various sites. And now I have landed here too, ready to play my cards with this umpteenth bet, which I will win, as always, thanks to my passion and dedication.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I played live several times, especially between the 80s and 90s, but it was never a dimension that made me feel really comfortable, although I had a lot of fun at the time. The last time was at the end of 2014, when I played as a guitarist for a really interesting and wide-ranging trap music project, but even then it was really stressful, as it was in an ice rink and it was ridiculously cold. From then on I decided to devote myself solely to studio work, collaborating with various artists, but turning down any proposal to play live.
Your musical influences
I have so many musical influences, starting with 70s progressive rock from childhood, moving on to 70s English punk, metal, but especially extreme metal, like black metal. I also listen to a lot of new wave, darkwave, post punk and synth pop, and for a few years now I have become very interested in ethnic music and hip hop. My heroes? As a guitarist absolutely Steve Hackett and then Ihsahn from Emperor. As bassists: Jaco Pastorius, Paul Simonon (The Clash), Bruce Foxton (The Jam), Chris Squire (Yes) and Nick Beggs. Alle tastiere Keith Emerson (ELP) e Rick Wakeman (Yes). Come cantanti: Joe Strummer (The Clash), Peter Hammill (VDGG), Siouxsie Sioux (Siouxsie & the Banshees), Robert Smith (The Cure), Antonella Ruggiero (Matia Bazar) e Michael Kiske (Helloween).
What equipment do you use?
Guitars and basses by Ibanez. Korg and Line6 as keyboards. Roland as external sound card and drum machine. AKG headphones and Bowers & Wilkins speakers. Shure and Sennheiser as microphones. As a daw I use Logic Pro and as far as plugins are concerned I use Plugin Alliance, Arturia, Native Instruments, Tokyo Dawn Labs, Baby Audio, ESL, Fab Filter, Ik Multimedia, Izotope, Kilohearts, Melda Production, Nomad Factory, Overloud, Spitfire Audio, Toneboosters, U-he, Voxengo, XLN Audio, Tone2 and many more
Anything else?
7 notes sound better than thousands words.
