Hi, my name is Giedrius Vilpisauskas, I'm originally from Kaunas, Lithuania. I started learning Jazz Guitar half a year ago, after years of playing of acoustic blues, and decided to make some recordings along the way in order to monitor my progress. And if someone likes the way I play - that's even better!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to play live blues and rock'n'roll for a group of close friends in the "Sherno Iltys" pub in Kaunas, Lithuania. Right now I'm just learning, playing jazz on a classical guitar is just a hobby for me.
Your musical influences
My biggest influences are giants like Joe Pass, Charlie Byrd, Tom Jobim, etc. I play nowhere even near their level, but I try my best :)
