FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
  • freestyling over a beat
  • licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
  • remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.
When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".
I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.
What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
My name is Ned and I am the founder of 4N Entertainment and Deported Beats is our first act. You can also call me by my producer name 88 Quayz. Inviting Fury is our second member and finally we have our sound engineer Shibby Shibby Ya.
Band/artist history
Yes, very difficult especially as I lost someone very close to me and music production brought me back to life. I am like a dog chasing a ball with music however it is also about managing talent and Human Resources. I was in the orchestra as a kid with full music school training. I was a drummer and vocalist in high school in our monthly shows most notably performing the vocals for Song 2 by Blur and doing drums for Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, I was rapping whilst at university (Diplomacy) and managed to hook up with a beat maker who was studying Musical Programming at the same university. We did various gigs and we were called East Central. No stage fright - just hated losing my voice after rapping a full 5 songs.
Your musical influences
This may sound cheesy but my work ethic hero is Snoop Dogg not just for his music but his work ethic. Everybody perceives Snoop as this lazy stoner but he never has a day off and that is why he is always current. Musical influences include Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, The Beatles, Phil Collins, Queen, Biggie, Daz Dilinger, Canibus, Big L, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Onyx, G Unit, The Diplomatz, NWA, Xzibit, Ma$e, Red Cafe, Fiend, Mia X, The Lady of Rage, Kurupt, DMX, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Wu Tang, Master P, A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes, Dr Dre, Scott Storch, Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Mike Elizondo, Swizz Beats, DJ Khalil not Khaled, Sha Money XL, Battlecat, 1500, DJ Quik, Warren G, D.O.C. - off the top of my head but there are so many more,
What equipment do you use?
I mainly use Akai MPC as far as hardware is concerned with Focusrite and Behringer audio interfaces alongside KRK monitors. We have the ANA 2 synthesiser and we have over $6,000 worth of VST plugins. We do mixing strictly in Logic Pro. Our second producer Inviting Fury works on Cubase exclusively.
Anything else?
We are the type of cats that call home where we lay our hat. And we will be releasing to all platforms starting 24th December 2021!
