Hello world and its creations, I am Keary. I'm from Ohio, United States but I'm half Mexican. I make music like I breathe air, its pretty much what I live for and plan around.
Band/artist history
I turned a hobby into a career by going to school for Music Management in Hocking Hills, Ohio. The college I went through was an exceptional, world class place where I learned a lot about music. After that I went on to start working in live sound and learning from my mentor.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Totally. I pretty much knew I wanted to perform for a crowd for the rest of my life when I was 17 in high school and I performed at the Right of Way Cafe showcase. It was a spoken word program but I brought my guitar and some rhymes I had written and the rest was history.
Your musical influences
All over the place; Cafe Tacvba, Foo Fighters, Pixies, Pink Floyd, Beck, M.I.A., Lilly Allen, Santigold, Pavement, Kendrick Lamar, J Dilla, Project Pat, Public Enemy, Mindless Self Indulgence, Queens of the Stone Age, Ween, Tupac, Jay Chou
What equipment do you use?
I have a home recording studio with a condensor mic by AKG, pre-amps by WARM audio, and some standard headphones by Sennheiser. I truly believe home recording is the future of great records.
Anything else?
Check out my music, I'm all over the internet or so I try to be. It's not easy without a record company or something like that helping me, but I'm trying my best to get my work out there as well as work I record for other artists. Be sure to give me feedback and be honest about how my tunes make you feel. Much love, I look forward to discovering other artists on SoundClick.
