Im an electronic music producer who has written over 100 songs, some of them don't make the cut, but I have released a handful of songs that I am very proud of. I produce mainly retrowave and downtempo music, but have done some rock and EDM. Im an independent artist and I release my music on my own label called Jam Junkie.
I began to produce original music at the end of 2017 and I released my first record in early 2018, it was a complete flop and was rejected by everyone. Since then I have released a handful of singles and two EPs, which have had a small amount of success. I do my own PR and music promotion, which I am still learning how to do effectively.
No, being an electronic music producer I dont perform live, everything is digital.
I am heavily influenced by 80s music, those synthpop bands had some great songs. I think you can hear that coming through in my music.
I just use a computer and a DAW to create music using loops and samples. I use some plugins during the mixing and mastering of the songs.
I think that whether I am successful in my career or not is unimportant. The main thing for me is that I love making music and the creative aspect of it. I hope that people enjoy listening to my music as much as I enjoy making it.
