It's always just been a hobby since way back with just a guitar -- And hard rock/metal drew me into it -- music -- And being the only outlet available for any kind of opposition to a world I could tell was way off and getting worse all the time -- Rebellion. Luckily I managed to not take the destructive route as many did either to die physically and or mentally.
No, not really.
Older classic blues (country blues, folk-blues, John Lee Hooker). I love the free spirit of the old solo blues artists, nothing commercial! Simpler times. Then there's the whole rock thing up to heavy metal which is all but dead now thanks to nefarious corporations owning everything I guess. A whole world of changes happened, happening -- that a lot of metal artists actually warned us about.
A Takamine acoustic guitar someone gave me, an used ESP electric guitar ($60), a thrift store amp ($30), a Tascam DR05 portable recorder ($99), a laptop someone gave me, and Audacity freeware.
Don't forget to check out my songs' info pages where I usually have the "Story behind the song"
My thanks to Sound Click and MP3U websites, and Audacity freeware.
