Yolanda AKA Freyayoland is a Gospel recording Artist Singer and songwriter who has been bringing her good-time singing ever since she was a little girl, And has been writing ever since she was a teen, Growing up in Sandiego CA, hearing Gospel legends being played early Sunday mornings by her Mother, Such as The mighty clouds of joy, The Winans, Shirley Ceaser and James Cleveland, Freyayoland began her own musical journey in the church, Singing solos in the children church choir and began singing in High school talent shows, as well as performing art choirs. Since then Freyayoland has had the opportunity to audition for Marvin Sapp and many others. Freyayoland have been bringing her good-time soulful renditions to audiences since 1996 . Hailed as her " Song Bird" music, has its roots in the, old-time , and early gospel traditions As well as neosoul roots. Devynsoul released her first Ep Single in 2019 entitled " I don't look like what I've been through" and since been in the studio working on her next projects to come. Even though Freyayoland roots are in the church arena, " I'm an an out of the box solo artist" says Freyayoland, Who will bring different genres of music to audiences everywhere, Even outside the church arena.
I have had the opportunity of performing in front of and auditioned in front of the greats such as Marvin Sapp Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Also in front of T Grizzly in 2017. also had the opportunity to meet Robert Smith of Smith's World TV show, Who has interviewed Hollywood stars such as Nikki Manage, Jada Pinkett and more. I also have auditioned for Americas Got Talent in 2018. I have been on the TV show Americas Got Anointing Hosted by Prey King in Florida back in 2016.
A special memory for me would be when I performed in front of T Grizzly last year in 2017, "I was so nervous" and made an awesome video with Mr. Robert Smith, It was a lot of fun.
