Jermaine Pettway "Yahweh Trax" is a St. Louis native, but he was raised in Bay Minette, AL for most of his life. At the age of 12, he began playing the guitar and then on later began to pick up the piano, which his father taught him everyday and night the basics and the advanced techniques of the instruments. Jermaine was first introduced to music by his father " Bishop Albert L. Pettway, in East St. Louis,IL. Albert was a professional musician/songwriter for years and played in multiple bands and also was the audio engineer for Darcy Advertising Agency in St. Louis, MO where he used to bring Jermaine up to the studio on the weekends and show him the ins and outs of the studio.
After Jermaine graduated high school, he received his Associates of Science Degree in 2007 from Full Sail University. Not soon after graduation, Jermaine opened up his first recording studio and began working on his skill of producing and songwriting. Jermaine has been writing and producing music for over 20 years now and has produced many albums and singles since then.
Jermaine is a man of "Faith" and he believes that every good and perfect gift comes from God and God only. He also believes that using his gift for a positive influence to others is the reason why he has been called by many the " Chameleon Producer" which means he can produce multiple styles of music so perfect and professionally.What equipment do you use?
