Jerjohn Feistroy of Thee Outragious CirqelBand/artist history
In June of 1988 a man and a child named Jerjohn moved to a remote berg just outside of Albany, Florida. They set up camp in a neighborhood filled with thieves and murderers, where the only ones they could trust were the brave and honorable vagabonds.
One night while fighting off a band of loveable munchkin-like people they decided to invite a crew of Estonian Ice-carvers into the house and set up an art studio, advertising it as a Kinetic Art sculpture gallery called "The Berg". One day, the entrance bell jingled and in walked a wizard of man . His name was Luke Feistroy, and from that day forward he deemed himself the young boys patron and teacher of many different skills. One skill inparticular was the power of psychosonic projection recording (a method of recording sounds produced through human mental telepathy).
In the beginning they used a Sony handheld to record simple psychic sounds such as squeals, chirpings, and burps. As time progressed they moved onto digital recorders and then finally to multitrack computer recording programs(digital audio workstations, or DAW's), where they began to create more complex material. Some of the sounds and pieces were actually archived in the L. Ron Hubbard House in Washington DC(Dupont Circle, proper). Also, for many years throughout the late 80's and into the 90's Luke and Jerjohn lent their talents to the Russian space program, psychically projecting sensitive materials to a 1966 Magnitizdat, the recordings of which finally found their way into the hands of Blues Artist Stevie Ray Vaughn.
After a stint in the late 90's and early 2000's with the improvisational group "AMM", Jerjohn decided to escape from his foster parent and go into hiding in a bohemian art colony somewhere in Arizona. When certain artists in the colony discovered Jerjohns abilities they immediately set him up with all the audio recording mediums they could afford, which consisted of a 1999 Panasonic portable tape recorder from Wal-Mart. These recordings were rumored to've been used by Stephen Hillenburg, and also used in Wynton Marsalis's unreleased failed tribute album to Sun Ra called "Sun Ra kit Hot".
After these rumors got to Jerjohn he decided to quit making recordings.....
