Kevin Dietrich was born in 1992 in Staßfurt (Saxony-Anhalt).
Even in infancy it has evolved a great interest in music through the early musical education. At that time his grandfather played the accordion for entertaining at family gatherings, but only with folk music. As a result the interest in this instrument was growing up and he began his musical education in October 1998 at the music school "Béla Bartok" with Dieter Giesemann in Staßfurt.
Over the years of education Kevin scored spectacular successes in numerous competitions, such as 1st prize at "Deutscher Akkordeon Musikpreis" in 2006 and a 1st prize at "Jugend musiziert" in 2010 with a subsequent invitation to a nearly two-week stay in Tokyo, including several concerts.
With the Landes-Akkordeon-Ensemble Saxony-Anhalt under the direction of Lutz Stark, Kevin was collecting more than 10 years valuable experiences in this orchestra now and could participate in numerous concerts at home and abroad. Since 2011 in the position of concertmaster playing numerous concert tours brought him already among other to Croatia and Hungary.
With the beginning of the winter semester 2011/12 Kevin began his studies at the Academy of Music in Würzburg with Prof. Stefan Hussong. Since then, he already played at various premieres, such as "Refidim junction" by Magret Wolf and "Sitherwood" by Graham Lack.
