I love the LORD, Jesus Christ and I really like Hip Hop. Growing up, I ran to music to help me cope with the pain in my life. Hip Hop artists always knew how to point out the hypocrisies I saw in the world and they knew how to have fun in that world. For the longest time I didn't know Christ. I rapped about the same things everyone else is rapping about, the sin I lived in. When I met Jesus I fell in love. I began to truly understand myself better as I sought to understand Him. Then I realized that everything I thought I knew and was conditioned to believe through the world was wrong. I began to see the error in my ways and for the longest time I've been at odds with the culture I loved. I decided to keep my mouth shut and keep my head down. A lot has changed in the past 9 years since I found my Savior. Now I walk in obedience and He has given me a new voice. I'm free.
I have performed live at various venues, mostly open mics or special events and observances. I love to perform. Every time is special.
Too many to name but I'll tell you most of my musical influences were not Christian artists. But that was the old me. Now I'm mostly influenced by Jesus Christ and the saints. I like artists like LeCrae, Andy Mineo, Flame, NF, Ambassador, Lyrycyst, Big Daddy Weave, Fred Hammond, Deitrick Haddon, Newsboys, NeedToBreathe and many more!
