Chemistry
Welcome to "A Choired Taste", Watch Us! We're the "Surprise Band" !
Band/artist history
Centuries in the making, we've finally brought 15 outstanding, seasoned musicians to perform new 60's & 70's style eclectic original music. We also now play cover tunes with the full band of (currently) 9 people. We've got lead guitar, bass, drums, trumpet, guitar, keyboards, Bone, Sax, Harp, etc. and 5 singers! We're looking to add more horns and vocalists!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. We've played at Thai New Year's Festival, Hollywood, The Galaxy Concert Theater, The Hard Rock Cafe, Fashion Island, CA; The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA. and many other clubs and smaller venues. Love to play live and setting up our next venues: Edison Field, Hollywood Bowl, The Forum. Tour of Southern France during latter part of 2007.
Your musical influences
Influences include: Aerosmith, The Doors, Dave Mathews, Sting, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, James Taylor, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Carol King, The Beatles, Chopin, Beethoven.
What equipment do you use?
Old Old equipment with great sounds!
Anything else?
We've got the horn section + lead guitar + keyboard with visits from fiddle, banjo, and flute so we get a very flexible rock sound! We have French influence as well as all artists mentioned above. Love to play for live audiences and view music as the "Perfect Communicator" for all people. We want to use our music to help others by sharing emotional empathy and with fund raising.
