I try my best to incorporate some of my punk influence into the songs that I write (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.) I don't like to limit myself when it comes to categorizing sound. I've been influenced by so many different styles of music (hardcore, punk, indie rock, grindcore, crust) and I try to use that in everything that I write. Dave E. Nation began in 2002 when his band Crustation Nation broke up. He decided after screaming so long in a band he'd take a break and start writing softer music while also trying to keep with his indie/punk/hardcore influence.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play anywhere and everywhere I can. House shows, Bars, All Ages Venues (the best)....you name it I will play it.
