JoeSixpack has been around for about 16 years. First as a singer/songwriter project. Then, as a band. We record simply, in our own project studio. Friends making music.
It started as one guy playing coffeehouses. Then recording, and being joined by friends who made the songs much more than they were before. Still more of a play for fun/recording project than a performing band. But a hell of a good time.
We're having fun.
Collectively, we've each been involved in things you may have heard. 2/3rds of the band still plays with other, really good people.
The details aren't all that important. This is this. That was that. No-one wants to read a "featuring members of" list.
We have, and will. So, yes. Bars seem to be where we're going. Clubs don't have the appeal they once had, and we're trying to live up to the name. Ha.
I can't answer that. There's too much out there, and I like so much of it. Not a cop out, I just have no idea.
We play American made guitars and drums. Fender, Martin, Gretch, etc... There's a gear list of what we record with on our site though, if you want that info. www.JoeSixpack.us These songs were 8 tracked. We're up to 16 now in studio.
Really, just give a listen. You be the judge. If you like it great. We really hope so, we do.
Lots of new songs, more recording soon. Just kickin' back, and having a go of it.
