The artist in question has played in various bands and performed hundreds of shows in the last 17 years, the longest stint being with a rock band called CHETT (www.myspace.com/chett) . Highlighted shows include the 2000 Vans Warped Tour, Cornerstone Festival (3x), The Double Door in Chicago, The Rave in Milwaukee, and The Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnatti, Ohio. Songs he performed with these various bands have been on four different nationwide compilation CD's with the latest being on Cincinnatti's 2008 Midpoint Music Festival, as well as on MTV's "reality" dating show "Next" as background music during two different episodes. Now with Luke, the singer/rhythm guitarist from the Rock band CHETT accepting a new position in Nashville, TN, Stan, the Drummer/BackVocalist made a decision to venture into new territory and start his own solo project, Standby for Transmission. That was his back story, now he's ready to start a new chapter in a new story. Utilizing a wide scope of styles and genres of music make this artist versatile in song writing abilities which gives the listener a lot of variety meaning there is something for everyone here. Have you performed in front of an audience?
I have played live all over the Midwestern United States including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Iowa. I played out with various bands over the past 17 years doing weekend mini tours and other individual shows. The special moments were included in the bio above.

What equipment do you use?
1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom, the mono cord from the pedal board runs into a 1997 Mesa Tremoverb 2x12 Combo run into a Mesa 4x12 custom cabinet w/2 Celestions and 2 EV Black Shadow speakers. The stereo cord from the pedal board runs into a 1970's Fender Dual Showman 85W head and into a 2x15 guitar cabinet (1960's-1970's). The pedal board is extensive. A picture is included in the photos section. The drums are a combination of Pearl and DW and my cymbals are all Paiste Signature series. I record everything through Shure and AKG studio mics into a Yamaha soundboard and then into my IPAD through the GarageBand app for Apple. YUP! IT IS ALL DONE IN GARAGEBAND! I also use Native Instruments KONTAKT 4 plugin software for bass, synth, piano, and other effects. I have a Korg KAOSS Pad for vocal effects, synth, and drum beats as well.
