A little about myself. I am a man of many interests and abilities. I love to create music of all kinds. I have been a musician for nearly 14 years. An artist of sorts you could say. I like to rap, sing, dance(even though I'm not coordinated and don't dance well), I play the saxophone, I'm somewhat of a photographer. I do graphic design as well. I'm a audio engineer/Producer. I also like sports. I'd much rather play them than to watch them. My Brother, Cousins, and I are a group called the Twiisted Family. We've been together all of our lives and have been making music for, as I said, about 14 years! Definitely striving to make it in the industry one way or the other!
Welcome to the "Twiisted Family" a music group from Elyria, OH. Formed officially in 1999, with four members (Tubb-T aka "Stephen Jackson", G-440 aka "Joshua Lawrence", Already aka " Starling Jackson", and J-Nelz aka "Jeffrey Nelson" and later addition J-Lo Blue aka Jordan Lawrence") the new "Twiisted" is here in 2013 better than ever. Sent on a diverse quest between the members to strive to overcome and to build a foundation that can withstand the tests of time. Summing life into a simple formula MUSIK! Music to us is a craft, and to be connected to your craft is an experience that is soul gratifying and uplifting in its many different forms. We love to express the beautiful work of the craft that we have been given as well as strived to expand our knowledge and depth of love for the craft. We do live performances whenever and wherever possible. We are an upcoming group who does not plan on stopping anytime soon. Our music is different, out-of-the-box, and many times inspirational. We love to make music and love even more performing our art to as many people as we can. We are a humble minded set of individuals who want nothing more than to do what we love to do and get paid for it. Every moment is a special moment considering that every moment is a blessing to be alive so forever we will push hard and strong towards our goals and aspirations.
Every piece of music I've heard up to this point has contributed to my current musical state of mind. I will be honest though I do not have the best memory of artist names or song names etc. but I have had many influences in the music field since I've first drew breath.
The only equipment we use is a computer, Pro Tools, and a Mic. Nothing too fancy at all. Then the more important piece of hardware we use is our brains. Then the most important thing we use is our spirits/souls. From whence the music flows.
