Special memories were performing at the Big Texan in Amarillo with my long time friend Pam Stokes. It was great fun performing the songs others had made a hit, but somewhere along the way, I turned to performing my own songs. No, nobody sings them because they are not familiar but I do what I do because of the songwriter in me. Pam was the reason for my desire to do what I love to do....write my own songs. She has been a great help and inspiration in all my interests. Then, I found Kim Copeland to produce my first "heartbreak song" and the outcome was exactly as I wanted to hear it, so I wrote another one and she produced that one too. Later I found Randy to sing my songs, because I was always pleased to hear what he did with my attempts at them turning them into something worth listening to!! It's been an amazing journey and not yet done by any means.
