An #AMWF couple garage band that collaborates online.
Patrick Lew Hayashi (b. 1985) met Manda Kay (b. 1982) directly via friend request through an AMWF group on Facebook back on June 23, 2021, during the height of Patrick Lew Band's fame in indie music and on the Internet. dating began online as an LDR couple on December 23, 2022. After some difficult hardships they faced the first year together they were dating, they eventually reconciled on March 25, 2024 and became stronger as a couple since then. They finally met in-person on September 15, 2024 when Patrick flew to Chicago, Illinois to meet her and spent 5 days with her, solidiying their relationship altogether. Today, Patrick edits and directs all her YouTube videos. And Manda sometimes helps out with his creativity in the Patrick Lew Band, and remains very loving and supportive. Together, they plan to do more YouTube videos together and keep at it while being together as a solid interracial AMWF couple.
Patrick: I've had some experience with live performing as a member of Patrick Lew Band between 2009 to 2012 and filling in on bass for the SF punk band The Tortured for two gigs in 2016. But 95 percent of my musical output and creative process is at my home recording studio in good ol San Francisco. Where me and my friends is often jamming and throwing our own garage band party. And of course, we would be recording here too as well. Most of the time, I'm the type of artist who focuses solely on recording and putting myself out there on social-media. Guess I got that influence from The Beatles.
Confession! I have never officially toured outside of the San Francisco Bay Area even if I have some fans outside of NorCal. Lol. Most of the time. Live shows for Patrick Lew Band and this band Steel Lions is often sporadic and intermittent.
