It's about the songs. I'm not so much a singer-songwriter as a songwriter-singer. I do not fit into a genre. The genre fits the song. They range from rock to country ditties, from standard lounge ballads to power pop, from blue-eyed r&b to country rock. I sing almost all the vocals and play almost all the music (mostly on keyboard) but, as I said, it's about the songs.
I've been writing songs off and on since the early '70s. Performed a few concerts back then. Written over 200 by now. Only about 12 years ago did I start trying to make them into records, mostly a solo project. Can't stop myself.

Pretty much everyone from Hank Williams on.
Yamaha keyboard, Tascam 8-track recorder, cheap drums with decent cymbals, and only recently Garage Band.
It's in the songs.
