Band/artist history
(2022) I came in first place at a beat battle hosted by Social Media House Recording Studios. Judged by goats: Steve Lobel, Motif Alumni, Fuse CEO of 808 Mafia & Vinny Idol (Legends!). Very inspiration moment to see these industry cats knock their heads to my music and applaud me. Also had full control of the crowd too, wanting to hear more. It was more like a show case than a battle. I was against some very talented producers and beat-makers who i networked with after the show to collaborate in music.
(2004-2005) Around the time I was a sophomore in middle school, my brother had a conversation with me about this group he's working with. He was telling me about him traveling a bit visiting recording studios. Days go by and he eventually introduces me to Lu Vega, a singer/rapper/songwriter.
(2002) Well, I think wouldn't have done music if it wasn't for my older brother Lo and his influence on me when I was younger. I remember we were listing to some 50 Cent Mixtapes hosted by DJ Green Lantern - Invasion and Jay-Z - Blue Print 2 album and many others, and were wondering about the production on these albums and how we could make hip-hop music and i remember we telling each other where and how do we start. So, we started justing fucking around with the Yamaha Synthesizer Motif ES7 that my mother got for my brother for Christmas and i know for a fact! a lot of muthafuckers my age and his age weren't asking for no Keyboarders for Christmas, but my mother worker hard for us specially because our father passed away the year before and she was trying to keep shit under control and keeping us from doing stupid shit... as best she could.
So, we were noobs to this shit we didn't know how to do anything. A funny thing was we had no memory card to save beats on the fucking keyboard so we had to either memorize it or eventually my brother came up with the idea to call my cousin Chino and record beats through the phone voicemail, LOL. and in those days there was no youtube to research tutorials, i mean there was a youtube but it was at its early stage and we didn't know of it. Eventually my brother meet with people in our town, we were in that route and sometime passed and eventually he meet with some 2 rappers from Queens (Marc Menaza and Mago Montana), who would then became the first artist I make beats for. They gave us some guides and knowledge to equipment and basics on creating and formatting beats and introduced us with a program called Fruity Loops (FL Studio). Time has passed. We all started growing apart and networking eventually going our separate ways, from the rappers, and my brother. I took a different route by contacting other artist directly on the early days of myspace. I linked with some artist form UK and then i find a singer/songwriter by the name Raden M., We would become a unofficial team, me producing and him writing and singing. Eventually we start drifting apart. Time passes just producing music for artist and getting no placements, I started getting a little depressed from music, feeling failure at a young age, so i started hanging with my friends back in school, enjoying my youth, doing stupid shit and getting LIT! Living like a college student in middle school.
...to be continued.

Any special memories?
Im going to be discreet about what i say here. So im leaving out names and some information that i can't reveal.
Special memory:
A few years ago (2010) i was at my man's studio, he had just came back from Jamaica. He's a senior audio engineer at a private studio there where big name artist frequently coming by. So, I'm at his home studio, here in NY. We are chilling. He tell me some of his experiences over there in the islands and tells me he was in the studio with Drake and 40, and i was starstruck and its funny to me because my man doesn't know big drake was or 40. So, he was in a session with drake, 40 and the crew, for about 2 weeks. I was like damn! And he had footage of the whole session due to security reasons by owners of the studio. I don't think i can say much from this point but he was definitely working on some vibes for his album releasing the year after and other, and that album is now known as Take Care. That is just one of many specially memories that i have with these specially people in my life. This one was very influentially because i grew up listening and studding Drake and 40's production. And it's been a dream of mine to collaborate with Drake and 40 and just vibe, and to know that i know someone that was in the same room with they make me think in going in the rite direction in a way, let alone watching footage of some of the process. If drake ever does a bio-pic in the future he should definitely contact my man for that footage for the world to see because its very inspiring. And to my man. He is someone i highly respect. He's my best friend's dad who i would never think of disrespecting. He's done a lot for me and has co-signed me to many opportunities, that i am grateful for. If it wasn't for him i wouldn't have meet and networked with people that would help me sort of get my foot in the door a bit or teach me more about this industry. He is my mentor and my friend and i thank him for being part of my life 100!
Special memory:
This is a short one, around the time I was in High School. One night my brother calls the house (because i didn't have a mobile phone at the time) I pick up and he tell me yo come thru the studio (and I'm remembering that my brother has been telling me that Peedi Crack has been coming by the studio, and me and him grew up listening to state property, so i can tell this nigga was star strucked, so he didnt say anything about Peedi going tonight). So I felt really lazy thankfully my mom was on her way out and i usually don't ask her for a ride to a studio because she will interrogate me on who, what and where, nahh mean so i was like fuck it, we head out. She's been to the studio before she knows where it is, while were in the car I'm just hoping she doesn't come in with me because that would be very embarrassing, and she's never been in a studio AT NIGHT. Thankfully she was with her friend so he was able to calm certain situations and understood and they were on there way to a pub so she aint have time to be going in any studio she was just going to drop me off and go. So was we're arriving and i saw Peedi Crack outside the studio door smoking a cigaret and i kind of yell at my mom and tell her to keep driving and let her to leave me around the corner and as that was going on in the car Peedi was looking at us in the car. So my mom is like why what happened and her friend was also like ??? and I'm explaining who that person was and she wasn't impressed lol but i begged her to just drop me off around the corner as we are arriving so she did and i kissed her good by and good night. I walk to the studio and Peedi is gone and he must have went back in. I enter the studio, I go the main room and i see Peedi in the recording booth and my brother Lo and Lu in the next room engineering Peedi, and these 2 dudes that came with Peedi that claim to be part management. So, after he came out and they introduce me to Peedi and they tell him I have beats for him that he has to hear and i was like YES! so since this was a private session I didn't want to intrude I did sit in the session but i got bored after an hour and he just came to record the current track and other be out and he was going to the studio frequently for other projects. Bored, I went to one of the other empty rooms to make beats and have something setup for Peedi. So time goes by more people come by usually by this time in the studio it becomes a bit of a house party people smoking and popping bottles like new years, but not really. So i end up showing beats to other people and network, vibing. I eventually miss Peedi Crack leaving and i lost the chance to exchange info so i can send him beats. Lu tells me he will be back but since im like 15 i have school so i eventually miss him every time. As years go by I end up meeting him again in 2015 at a event in Philly and exchanging information and sent him beats but i haven't heard anything released that I've produced for Peedi
Your musical influences
Hard question. I mean it really depends on what vibe i catch from when im in the process. People around me influence me. My first influencer was my brother Lo. Growing up I'd see him jamming and vibing with my dad and i really wanted to be a part of that but my father passed away when i was 10 years old, 2002 and i didn't get in music till the next year. So i express my feeling with music, its been part of my therapy. But beats, sometimes i feel like doing some hip-hop shit, sometimes i feel like doing some relegation shit. I can go from doing a Pop beat or a bachata vibe, to switching to some Dark Trappy shit or some Soulful vibes. But i try to fusion many styles together. I do love the Lo-Fi type of vibes that has vhs or old vintage sounding effects with a rnb, trap swing. I try man techniques when it comes to melodies and feel. I might have said this already but when i create I put what ever vibe to what is going on in my life, wether it's good or bad.
