Del writes as Mozart...in a precise way and usually in one draft, though his music is not imitative; he has his own distinctive, beautiful sound. He has written several symphonies and piano concertos all with full orchestration and, is nearing completion of an opera of the South-west, including libretto. His second symphony is for full orchestra plus full chorus and soloists. It is a spiritual symphony which is uplifting in its message for humankind. In fact, he has written a small booklet on the healing power of music and on how a composer must consider how his music might affect others and use what he terms "Divine Selection" when composing. Excerpts from the booklet have been published in such publications as the American Theosophist and the Rosicrucian Digest. He has also written several solo piano pieces. He performed some of his works in an all-Hudson concert at the Music Mansion in Providence RI, as well as many other venues, though he prefers composing to performing. All inquiries are welcomed from skilled pianists, singers, music directors, etc.
