Alexa Borden is an independent singer/songwriter, performer and producer. With two self-produced LP's under her belt, she cites a blend if influences in her creative writing and sound including Lana Del Rey, Fleetwood Mac, The Black Keys, Elvis and The National. The result: A sultry fuse of smokey vocals and poignant lyrics that glide over a dreamy musical landscape.

We try to play live as much as possible around the city. Bars mostly. I love dirty dive bars. Grungy and intimate really sets the mood for our set.

I grew up listening to David Bowie, Elvis, Fleetwood Mac, The Talking Heads. But current influences include The Black Keys, Lana Del Rey, The National and Alt J.

I use a program called "Cubase" to put all my music together. It works perfectly for me. I love my Kaotica Eyeball for vocals as well.
