I love to play live because the interaction of musician and audience is great. I think we feed off the attention. It's great to hear audience comments during a break or at end of concert.
One special moment was at our very first show as an opening act and someone came up to me at end of our set and told me he liked our version of "False Knight On The Road" better that Steeleye Span's version (which we learned the song from). It was nice because he was aware that we were playing our own interpretation, our own arrangement of the song. -- Jake Conte
Steeleye Span, Fairport Convention, and The Pentangle were our main influences.
