ANUBIS UNBOUND
_______________
The music has a range from song to song, and the composition of each is though out well and doesnt remain stagnant. Floating in between the brutal and the melodic. The epic and the emotional. Anubis Unbound ties all of these elements together to create a sound both technical and full of melody.
RECENT PRESS:
"As Ive pointed out in other reviews, song writing can make or break a band. These guys can write.... Smith and Sleeth have built an amazing framework, from haunting, melodic, and surprisingly catchy riffs. If they continue on this path, Anubis Unbound will have a sound you will identify from the very first chord."

"...the lights went out and it was finally time. Entrance music. Every band needs an intro. Good move. The Anubis guys took the stage, and it was time to find out if I was right about these guys doing it live. And I didn't have to wait long to find out. Anubis Unbound obviously has the knowledge that a live show is just that, a SHOW. Stage presence isn't even the word. They are intimidating up there."
Justus Steel - Shockwave Magazine

"On first listen I made a mental note to update my current dental insurance. Treachery is a teeth rattling, jaw bruiser of an album............ The twin guitar attack is at once a mix of technical elegance and melodic ferocity that combine in ruthless harmony. Bassist Ryan Plunkett could take the safe course... but there is a funkish undertone to his grooves that add a unique kick to the bands style."
Rustyn Rose - All Voices

Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes! Anubis Unbound regularly plays in their hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, and occasionally hits the road to play out of town as well. Anubis Unbound was able to join Soilwork and Mutiny Within during the last leg of their US/Canadian tour during 2010. The band plans to hit the road even harder in 2011, so keep yours eyes (and ears) open!
