Have played guitar and harmonica since I was 7 or so. Now, I finally learned to use a computer to record...and I'm having fun!
Got this article from ASCAP. Fella asks 'who is your ideal fan base? why do you make music?'.
I don't have a clue what an ideal fan base is. I make music because I like to-and if you enjoy it, too, then that's perfect!
'cogbern' came about coz of a rooster. I had a rooster I named 'Cogbern' that was a holy terror. The dog (Dick) you see in my pics was scared to death of this rooster-and Dick is a 60# dog that attacks snakes, skunks and other varmints with no hesitation. I had to pull Cogbern off of Dick several times...he'd dig his spurs in on Dick's back, and ride him like a pony....Cogbern finally got killed by a UPS truck...he was probably attacking the tires.
any birdbrain with guts like that deserves to be remembered, dontcha think? RIP, Cogbern.
A few times...not my cuppa tea.
Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Beatles, Dylan, Big Band, The Who, Zeppelin, Dave Clark Five, Rolling Stoned.
Audacity; MXL 990 mic (with a Mogane) and Squier guitar, Behringer UCA 202; 'Guerilla Home Recording' (Karl Coryat) helped me.
I'm learning to make CD's on the computer that will work in car stereos..so I'm enjoying my own stuff instead of the radio.
