Nicollen comes from a wide variety of musical tastes and preferences. Although the music reflects a strong sound, it's hard to place Nicollen in any specific genre. They continue to push their writing capabilities and amaze even their long-time fans with new material and captivating lyrics.Band/artist history
We've been through a lot of hard times as a band. It hasn't been a party the whole way through as a lot of people might think it is. We work really hard on everything we write and create to ultimately make it special, different, and unique. Of course that's easier said than done nowadays. But we still seem to find ways to sound a little different everytime we write a song. In doing so we hope that everyone finds something new that they love about everything we write (or hate, as long as we're instilling some feelings). The band started about two years ago. James and I have stuck together with the project ever since. - AnthonyHave you performed in front of an audience?We play live in San Deigo, Orange County, and Riverside County. We love playing live because we get to really feel the music like it's meant to be fealt with the fans. No particularly special moments.... one time me and James both broke the strings on our guitars on the same night and we had to use this other bands guitars. it was awesome. - Anthony

we use Marshall guitar amps (mostly jcm 900s) and some legacy stuff. also Schecter and Ibanez guitars. Bass is mainly Trace Elliot cabs and a GK head. (custom Fender Jazz) Drums are Tama, cymbals Sabian.Contact
