i started writing in 6th grade with me and two of my friends and we would always write during class and stuff, then like 2-3 years later i was the only one doing it still. so i went out and bought a mic in the summer going into my 8th grade year, and i bought my software too.all by myself, and ive been recording ever since..but now im a junior in high school and ive been going to this INCREDIBLE producer, and his names jodell..hes really sick..so thats it i guess lol.
yeah, i was getting booked by this corporation called Afton and i kept performing live unti i bailed on them one a night because i forgot that i had a show that night (oops). But as of now i havent been getting booked or any offers, so if anyone has a spot opened just contact me.
well my oldest sister (shes like 26 i think lol) when i was in like 5th grade she had these friends who rapped and they were actually really good, i would always go to there shows..it was about 8 of them and their crew was called Jersey Boyz and just being around them made me want to get into music itself. Their crew broke up because their Re-born Christians, but their still really good friends..not to long ago i went to one of their parties and at like 5 in the morning were all on the front steps just freestyling in one big cypher, it was a nice memory.
it was really cheap, but dont worry about the equiptment, i dont want these kids steeling my shit and having my same sound quality lol, sorry guys nothing personel.
Interviewer- "so krs one how do you think hip-hops doing?" krs one-"hip-hops fine but raps dying"
My Philosophy is that, hip hop is very much alive, but real hip-hops found in the underground instead of the radio, but thats just my opinion...
