Striving to write hard-hitting music without losing focus on melody and groove. I listen to all types of music, but when I write there is a tendency to lean towards a heavier style. I've been in a lot of bands, but
Band/artist history
After trying a few line ups, one stuck for a few years. After a while, things happened, and the band split. It is hard to find musicians in my area, so I decided to sell my half stack and get some recording equipment, but life didn't cooperate and I had to set music aside for a while. Until now...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Right now I'm not playing live, however that is hopefully going to change very soon.
Your musical influences
Anything that's heavy and melodic pretty much. I also really like shreddy stuff, even though I can't really play it. Jason Becker is my biggest inspiration. I'll never be able to play nearly as well as he did, but the fact that he still writes music while confined to a wheel chair just pushes me to keep trying at whatever it may be.
What equipment do you use?
I have an 80's Fender Contemporary Strat with a single EMG81, a Lexicon Alpha USB interface, Cubase LE4 (need to upgrade), and Superior drummer.
