Bran is just me, playing and messing in my home Studio. I have played in many bands in the past. Enjoyed the playing a great deal, but the hanging around and sorting money and organizing gigs was a nightmare to be honest. So I am happy just to be able to concentrate on Writing, performing and producing.
I will have to work this one out. Lots of different bands over the years.
I have been seriously working at my own Music since late 2007. So far I have managed to accrue three Albums of work that is still being re-mixed and sifted through. I do have plans to play live but it is on the back burner just now.
I always wanted to play live, but was a bag of nerves 10 mins before going on. Then one time with an Indie Band - we had a really great gig in a Club in Wembley. But it was a night that England lost to Poland and a whole bunch of angry fans came down near the end of our set and smashed the Club up while we were playing - I guess after getting through that I realized that there was no point in getting nervous.
Everyone from the Everley Brothers, Stones, Who .... I do Rock as Well and it does influence my instrumental work.
As far as the Electronic Music I would say Future Sounds of London, Gong, Sabres of Paradise, Orb, Kraftwerk. A guy to look out for too at the moment is Voide and the Guys on the Palace Network - blinding !
Washburn Electric / Cort Bass /12 String /Ashton Electro. Going through a Behringer Mixer into a MAC Dual. I also use an old beaten up TEAC A3440 Reel to Reel for some things - great sound - still have virgin tape . . . Gold Dust.
