THE STIVS are a fast, hard rock 'n' roll band with an outta hand live show.
THE STIVS were formed in the fall of 2001 and immediately began the process of writing and rehearsing original material. The band is usually referred to as "a faster AC/DC," but influences such as the Stooges, Motorhead, Hanoi Rocks, New York Dolls and the Ramones can be heard as well. The band focuses on live presentation, bringing a sense of urgency and unbelievable energy to each and every performance. The band's newest album, entitled SWEET HEARTACHE AND THE SATISFACTION, was recorded by Jack Endino in February and is available now on via Boot To Head label.
THE STIVS play live constantly. Special moments happen every single night...the look in a kid's eye that the band is really connecting with, the feeling of accomplishing something on a good night, the realization that the band is meaning something to someone else besides just the band members. The band loves playing live and those are just a few of the reasons why.
