Heavy Metal

NEMECIDE is a sonic convergence of unrelenting brutality, infectious melodies and bleak soundscapes executed with surgical precision and power. NEMECIDE was founded in 2006 by a dedicated group of musicians, each exhibiting wildly divergent musical leanings and backgrounds. Through the years the band has evolved their sound, disregarded trends, and forged their own unique metal concoction that is NEMECIDE. With their self-produced debut EP 'Incursion' released in April 2010, a new full-length album due out in 2014, and a steady procession of extremely heavy live performances (opening for the likes of Arch Enemy, Cradle of Filth, Nile, The Faceless, Cannibal Corpse, Chthonic, and many others) in the books, NEMECIDE is ready to spread their heavy metal contagion to the masses. NEMECIDE is: H.P. Lovethrash (drums), Vic Deakins (guitars), William Von Teifert (guitars), Baron Von Bruiser (bass), and Stephen J. Wrathburn (vocals).
Band/artist history
Our current lineup includes founders William Von Teifert (guitars), Vic Deakins (guitars), and Stephen J. Wrathburn (drums), along with long-time drummer H.P. Lovethrash and most recently our bass player Baron Von Bruiser. NEMECIDE was formed in 2006 and released our first EP "Incursion" in 2010. Our first full length album is due out in 2014. More history soon.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We live to play live! We've had the fortune of opening up with many amazing bands such as Arch Enemy, Cradle of Filth, Nile, Sevendust, Chthonic, Gorguts and also played the 2012 "Summer Slaughter" festival with Cannibal Corpse, The Faceless, Periphery, etc. We've had many special moments having a great time with so many bands, new fans, and other characters along the way.
Your musical influences
Each one of us has vastly different influences, but we blend it all together to form the unique concoction that is NEMECIDE.
What equipment do you use?
William Von Teifert plays an ESP Katana 7-String and Jackson COW7 through an ENGL Fireball 100 head with Fryette FB412 cabinet. Vic Deakins plays Dean Custom RC7 7-strings and PRS 6-strings through an ENGL Invader 100 head with Fryette FB412 cabinet. Both guitarists use the ISP Decimator ProRackG, modified Ibanez Tube Screamer pedals, and Elixir NanoWeb strings. Baron Von Bruiser plays Ibanez Soundgear 5 and 6-string basses through an Ampeg amp/cab setup. H.P. Lovethrash uses a DDrum drum kit and assorted other goodies.
