Nursery Rhymes and Metal Crimes

I thought I'd have some fun with AI and create a song about nursery rhymes and make it metal. So, here we go with "Nurs3ery rhymes and metal crimes"

The Shepherd's Call

A song I put together earlier this year for a friend and musician that I grew up with in Peterborough, Ontario. He was our singer in TYRANT and now was going through a heart valve replacement. I thought this would give him some comfort.

FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
  • freestyling over a beat
  • licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
  • remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.
When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".
I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.
What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
I'm a hard workin, beer drinkin musician! I swear a lot and poke fun at a lot of things.. The world kinda pisses me off as to how it has gotten sooo ANAL! I love watching comedians, especially Preacher Lawson as he is so fuckin funny! My super day job is driving a route and filling vending machines as well as looking after fresh food micro markets. Love meeting and talking to people.
Band/artist history
Grew up poor and in a small city in Ontario, Canada. Peterborough to be exact! Played clarinet in my early school years and finally got to tuba. Wanted bass guitar but never got it. Finally got to take it, the bass guitar home for the weekend and that was the start. Played the shit out of that thing and had to have one. My first amp was a Kustom 150 with the funky blue metallic flake and 2 12 cabinet. GOD, I loved that amp....it was soo cool! At 15 I got a bluesy rock band going with my friend and coworker Mike, can't remember his last name... we worked at Radio Shack.... I joined a band called TYRANT a few years later and we were heavy metal!!! Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath, etc. all the heaviest bands. There are stories that would take pages to fill and would be great as a book, if the band or I ever got famous! I auditioned for HELIX and almost got the gig! I went down with a bunch of players from across Canada for the Bass player job. I learned the wrong album and still made it to a second stage. I actually road down to Kitchener/Waterloo with Daryl Grey the guy who got the job. It was fun and a life lesson. After that I jumped on with INDIO and play/toured with them for several years. That's a book in itself..lol the shit that went on there! After I got married and out to Winnipeg I hooked with a punk metal group XL-Activators.. or XL-A for short. 10 years of grinding in that band and a lot of fun. But, it died a slow death because of people wanting different things. Now, I have a bit of a studio and learned the other instruments and are writing the kind of music I like.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. I remember when we did a school show and we used some toned down pyros, it was awesome!!! We accidentally sent flames up our front mans leg during a solo. But it still came off good.
Your musical influences
Queensryche, accept, Iron Maiden, Tool, Judas Priest and so many more!
What equipment do you use?
I have in my studio the following: Line 6 spider mk IV-75 with a 12" Celestion. Traynor SB-115 bass amp. Godin Freeway 5, 5 string bass. Kramer Striker II with Floyd Rose. Epiphone '67 standard Les-Paul. Moskey effects pedal. Sure SM-57 mics. Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones. ZOOM R-16 recorder/control surface. Art TPS-II Tube pre-amp. Art Pro VLA II. Behringer FX-2000 effects processor. Reaper on PC. Monkey studio monitors with Logitech 10" powered sub.
Anything else?
I don't like the digitally augmented crap that they produce today as it is not real! Myself, I would rather listen to something that is real and littered with mistakes, then a piece of polished turd that is more computer than musician. Music is supposed to be a human experience not a computer correction.
