Born in Gaffney South Carolina, James Bolton currently still works full time as a Police Officer and, is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and Firefighter. James' musical interests began at a very young age as he began to sing in his kindergarten class at Open Door Baptist Church. Then throughout the years James began playing "lead" guitar and singing for many well known bands and artists up the east coast. In 1997, James walked away from the music business to welcome a new daughter into his life. Along with the support of his loving wife Wanda, and daughter Paige, in 2008 James submitted 2 demo songs to various labels and, was signed within 3 months. The first recorded CD "Tributes To The Country Legends" quickly climbed in ratings among the upcoming Indie Artists, topping out at #5, out of 6342 other artists. In 2010 James and his label, Big Deal Music Inc., began a Gospel CD project and an all new promotions line of collectibles such as T-shirts, hoodies mugs, and more. During 2010, James was featured in the "Recording Firefox" magazine as an upcoming artist due to the overwheling response to the youtube site obtaining more than 11,000 fans within 4 months. James' music has been commented on publically by many well known artists such as Pam Tillis, John Berry, David Alan Coe, Tony Johansen, Jeff Cooke,and many others. His current Gospel Single release, "Jesus Can Lift You Up" which was originally recorded by Mark Bishop has reached #11 on the Reverbnation Charts. You will currently hear James' latest music on various Gospel Radio Stations , and on Online Gospel Radio Stations worldwide such as The Carolina Connection. In 2011, James will be visiting churches sharing experiences and life changing moments.
