Harvest Tyme Productions' first facility was the living room of its founder and CEO, gospel-jazz vocalist / song writer Danny Ray Hubbard. At that time the studio contained only a Bösendorfer piano, a soundproof booth, and a 32-channel mixing console, custom-designed by Neve to Hubbard's specification. Amazingly, today, all recording, mixing, mastering, duplication, and distribution are performed at the state of the art Studio North Recording Studio and Distribution Center located in beautiful Lynnwood, Washington--a quiet suburb situated just outside Seattle..

ISBN: 18179-6060-2Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, I love playing live--especially at churches and benefits...This is one reason why The 148th Street Jazz Players are so interchangeable; when you get a lot of gigs you better have some reliable back-up musicians. Perhaps our most memorable show was a few years ago at a party sponsored by Microsoft and held at 88 Keys in Seattle, WA. At that time I had a broken wrist and was not sure if I could play the piano...Fortunately, with Gods help, I completed the show without a hitch. Reviewers and critics even proclaimed that it was my best performance ever!
Your musical influences
Perhaps, my greatest influence came from my grandmother Merdie Nolan; a voice teacher and gospel singer... As far as artists go, I have gained much inspiration from Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles.What equipment do you use?
To be quite honest with you, since starting Harvest Tyme Productions and Upper Room Records a few years ago, I have, on occasion, made use of every piece of musical equipment imaginable--including world-class analog and state-of-the-art digital technologies.Anything else?
