Hi, I'm Luis Giron and I'm a songwriter performer. I've done a lot of recording and I perform on a regular basis, but the one thing I do best is writting music. I primarily write rock(all styles), but I also do rap,R&B,pop,gospel, and country. I can write in all styles of spanish music as well.
I've been playing the guitar since I was 13. At that age I also joined the school band and played trumpet and baritone. I've been writting since age 13. I've sang a whole at lot of charity events and sang Mexican folk music too. I sang in my church choir as well.
After High school I went to community college and got an associate's degree in Liberal Arts.
I've always recorded songs on my boom box that I wrote. But, two years ago I realized my dream of setting up my own Home Recording studio. I recorded the album "Brocken Heartz Tour" with it. Then I got burglarized in January 2003. During the summer I started going to a state of the art professional studio to record my new demo "American". I finally got it finshed and it's my first professional attempt to get somewhere in this music world. So I've got copies of it made that I'm sending to Record Companies and publishers all over the world.WISH me luck. IN FACT "WISH" is the name of my new album. Yes. I personally do a lot of open mic nights in the Dallas and East Texas area on a weekly basis.
I started with Elvis and the Beatles and moved on to Gunz-n-Roses and U2 in the 80s to Metalica and Nirvana in the 90s(my generations music)and on to Matchbox20,Incubus,Creed, Maroon 5, and Los Lonely Boys-They Totally rock!!! I was stuck on the counting crows for a while--"Mr. Jones & Me..." We're gonna be big, big starz HaHa!!!
To record at home I use Frootyloops and Cakewalk Music Creater. At the professional studio I use Protools. It's all computer based.
