Rings of Rust is a new up and coming metal band from Springfield, MO.
Rings of Rust began in October of 2002.At the time we were known as Salem. The orginal members where Mike Winchel(guitar), Sean Petty(drums),Josh White(bass) and T Russell(vocals) Januray 11th, 2003 was our first show. April 5th we changed our name to Rings of Rust. August 1st Sean quit, that same night we met Daniel who is now our current drummer, and on November 8th we got a second guitarst, Mike Powell.
We do play live, usually one or two shows a month. Most of our shows are at Billiards or somewhere downtown.
Metallica, System of a Down, Pantera, Mushroom Head, Ozzy, Slayer, Slipknot, etc.
Ibanez and Gibson guitars, Peavy guitar amp, Peavy Bass, and Fender Bass amp.
