I am a Christian rapper and I started writing lyrics when I was a teenager. I started writing poetry and then my love for rap grew. It was not until my late 20's when I started rapping for God Almighty. I use to just go by name Bruce Coleman but now I call myself The Poetic Preacher. Christian Rap is a passion of mine and love praising God Almighty through Rap.
I am my own band. I am currently working on starting my own label and my next goal is to learn how to produce my own beats. As of today I have one album called "Servant of the Heavenly Father' done in October 17, 2012. I have one mix tape called "I'm a Saint Marching In: The Mix tape of Righteousness Volume 1. I also have done two collaboration albums, Christian Rap Worldwide Collaboration Volume 1 and 2.
At this moment I don't play live but 2014 will be about doing shows and getting my name out there.
I grew up listen to New York rappers like Nas and Biggie Smalls. Jay-z was one of my favorites but when I found out he was on that devil stuff I changed lanes. As far as Christian Rappers I kind of just got into Christian Rap on my own without really having no favorite artist.
As of right now I use Studio One Professional to record, but I'm still learning how to be good at it. So I still go to a professional Studio to record.
