It's August... it's night... and it's hot... but your not alone.

Ya.... we've all ridden horses. But how 'bout bareback? ...at a full gallop? Wind flyin', hooves thundering, and heart pumping! Scared me into writing this!

Written back when I had a traveling job that gave me 4 months off every summer.... those were the days.

Written for an ex, (before she was an ex). A personal favorite because it doesn't follow standard song architecture, but still flows.

From traveling job days. As much as I enjoyed 6 to 8 weeks at a time in a foreign country, it sure was nice to be looking out the window thinking of home.

A nice, light tune....that shaker reminds me of a Katydid on a warm summer evening.
